New Hope Family,
It’s been so fun to gather with you online through Facebook Live. If you haven’t had a chance to join us, join us this Sunday at 10am. You can access the live stream by visiting our Facebook page HERE. You can also access services on our website HERE. On Sunday, Pastor Paul continued our Last Words series by talking about how "it is finished, but it isn't over". You can watch this encouraging and hope-filled service HERE.
In light of Governor Brown’s newest Stay Home, Save Lives executive order, and the President’s extension of social distancing measures, you might be wondering how New Hope is responding.
Our building is not currently open to the public. All physical gatherings have been cancelled, postponed, or moved online, including Life Groups and Life Recovery. We’ve also moved our weekly prayer gathering to our Facebook page every Wednesday at noon.
As the Church, we have a unique opportunity to lean in and be the hands and feet of Christ. If you are healthy and able to help you can click HERE to be directed to a list of opportunities.
If you are in need during this season you can click HERE to find a form which can be filled out and sent to our care team. We also have pastors on call who would love to speak and pray with you. You can call 503.659.5683 and choose "8" from the menu to leave a voicemail.
With our building now closed, you may be wondering how you can contribute financially to our mission. All of our online giving platforms are still available. You can visit us at newhopepdx.org/give to give online, or text newhopepdx plus any dollar amount to 77977 to give through text. If you normally give by cash or check, you can mail tithes and offerings to 11731 SE Stevens Rd, Happy Valley, OR 97086.
FOLLOW JESUS. SHARE HIS LOVE.
We realize these are uncertain times which present various challenges for each one of us. This is a unique opportunity for us to follow Jesus and share His love. The hope we have in Christ reminds us that even though things are hard we can trust that God is in control and we’ll be ok.
“And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” - Romans 5:5
We will be in regular communication about gatherings online and other ways we can stay connected. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if we can serve you in any way.
In Love and Service,
The New Hope Leadership team
