Life Group Leader
Number of Volunteers Needed for Role: 8
Description: Life Group Leaders facilitate regular spaces of community for fellow New Hopers. They champion the values of hospitality, relationship, growth, and service by providing structure for their Life Group. Life Group leaders receive an initial training and are supported throughout the year by the Pastor of Community and Spiritual Formation. Life groups vary in size, focus, and meeting location/rhythm and those elements are largely determined by the leader.
Time Commitment: September 2021 through May 2022
- At a minimum: 3 hours per month for a 2 hour monthly life group meeting schedule, plus up to an hour of administration/communication needs among the group.
- At a maximum: 2 hours per week for a 1.5 hour weekly life group meeting schedule, plus up to .5 hours of administration/communication needs among the group.
Attributes/Characteristics of the role:
- Engaging with people
- Midweek or Weekend
- Daytime or evening
- Regular commitment (at least monthly)
