Advent Story

The biblical story begins with a good God creating good things, but soon there is conflict in the plot. There is mistrust and broken relationships that require reconciliation. God has been on a mission to reconcile people to himself since that time, and he has done so through Jesus. At Advent, we see the mission of God unfold with the revealing of the promised Messiah, the very presence of God on earth. All that the church does now is an extension of God's mission to reconcile people to himself as we bear witness to the Son of God, Jesus, and wait patiently for his return.
